Then Jesus said unto him, “A certain man made a great supper and bade many.
But he said unto him, A certain man made a great supper; and he bade many:
But Jesus said to him, “A man was giving a big dinner, and he invited many guests;
But Jesus said to him, A man was once giving a great supper and invited many;
Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
Then he told him, “A man was giving a large banquet and invited many.
Jesus replied, “A certain man hosted a large dinner and invited many people.
But he replied, “Once a man gave a banquet and invited many people.
Jesus told him: A man once gave a great banquet and invited a lot of guests.
And he said to him, A certain man made a great supper and invited many.
But the One said to him— “A certain man was making a great dinner, and he invited many.
But he said to him: A certain man made a great supper, and invited many.
Jesus said to him, “A man gave a big dinner. He invited many people.
Jesus told this story to him: ‘One day an important man prepared a big meal. He asked many people to come to eat in his house.
Jesus said to him, “A certain man made a great banquet and invited many people.
But he said to him, “A man once gave a great banquet and invited many.
But he said to him, “A man once gave a great banquet and invited many.
Jesus said to him, “A man gave a ·big [great] banquet and invited many people.
Then said he to him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many,

But Jesus said to him, “Once upon a time, a man planned a big dinner party and invited a great many people. At dinner-time, he sent his servant out to tell those who were invited, ‘Please come, everything is ready now.’ But they all, as one man, began to make their excuses. The first one said to him, ‘I have bought some land. I must go and look at it. Please excuse me.’ Another one said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen and am on my way to try them out. Please convey my apologies.’ Another one said, ‘I have just got married and I am sure you will understand I cannot come.’ So the servant returned and reported all this to his master. The master of the house was extremely annoyed and said to his servant, ‘Hurry out now into the streets and alleys of the town, and bring here the poor and crippled and blind and lame.’ Then the servant said, ‘I have done what you told me, sir, and there are still empty places.’ Then the master replied, ‘Now go out to the roads and hedgerows and make them come inside, so that my house may be full. For I tell you that not one of the men I invited shall have a taste of my dinner.’”

Jesus replied with this illustration: “A man prepared a great feast and sent out many invitations.
Jesus followed up. “Yes. For there was once a man who threw a great dinner party and invited many. When it was time for dinner, he sent out his servant to the invited guests, saying, ‘Come on in; the food’s on the table.’
Then He said to him, “A man prepared a banquet and invited many,
But he said to him, “A man once gave a great banquet and invited many guests.
Yeshua said to him, “A man gave a large banquet and invited many people.
He replied to him, “A man gave a great dinner to which he invited many.
